At Canary Clean, we love the homes we care for — pets included. Most of the Austin homes we clean have a furry (or feathered) family member, and our cleaners are comfortable and considerate around animals. Here’s how we work with pets so every visit is smooth, safe, and stress-free for your household.
Tell us about your pets when you book
When you schedule a cleaning, let us know how many pets you have and anything we should know about them — names, temperament, allergies, or rooms they should stay out of. The more we know ahead of time, the better we can plan your visit.
Keeping pets comfortable and safe
- Our team is happy to work around calm, friendly pets who like to stay nearby.
- For pets who feel anxious around new people, vacuums, or noise, a quiet room, crate, or yard where they can relax during the visit keeps them calm and helps us work efficiently.
- For everyone’s safety, we ask that protective or aggressive pets be secured before we arrive.
- Please tell us if a pet should not be let outside, so we can be careful with doors and gates.
Pet hair, dander, and the occasional mess
Pets are wonderful — and they come with a little extra fur. Regular cleanings are a great way to stay ahead of pet hair and dander and keep your home’s air fresh. If your home has heavy shedding or needs extra attention after a pet accident, just give us a heads-up so we can set aside the right amount of time.

On request, we’re glad to use pet-safe, low-odor, eco-friendly cleaning products so your cleaning is comfortable for the whole family. Just ask when you book.
